Most of the stories you’ve probably heard are not true. The green has nothing to do with snakes or leprechauns, but represents Irish Nationalism. The colors of the Irish flag are green, orange, and white. Personally, I have never seen so much green as I saw in Ireland. It’s a beautiful country!
