How to Make a Margarita

You will need 2 small plates to decorate the rim of your glassware.

Pour some sugar onto one plate and simple syrup on the other plate.

Take your glassware and dip the rims in the simple syrup and then the sugar and set to the side.

Fill your glasses with ice 3/4 of the way full.

Add sweet and sour mix, mango nectar, tequila, and triple sec to a cocktail shaker filled with 3-4 pieces of ice. I love this cocktail set and it’s listed now as under $20 which is an amazing price. Most shakers cost that alone.

Shake until chilled.

Pour into glass.

Float Cointreau on top of your mango margarita.

Garnish with a lime.

Top Tips

This mango margarita would be heavenly after a whirl in a blender, so try it frozen!

Feel free to use salt on the rim instead of sugar. You could also add a piece of mango along with the lime garnish.

If you’re not a fan of tequila, feel free to use any white alcohol like vodka or rum. Gin might have too much of a botanical flavor, but you could certainly give it a try!
