    Harry Potter Butterbeer Cupcakes

    These Harry Potter Butterbeer cupcakes are so luscious! You may make them for the kids, but be sure to save one for yourself!

    Can you imagine a Butterbeer Cupcake? The Wizarding World of Harry Potter may have Butterbeer, but we've got dessert!

    If you've been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, you've no doubt had Butterbeer. Pretty delicious, right?

    And you can get it warm or cold. YUM. We live just 90 minutes from Universal Studios where the Wizarding World makes its home.

    Harry Potter Butterbeer Cupcakes

    Have you been dreaming of a dessert with that scrumptious flavor? Dream no more.

    Make your own scrumptious Harry Potter Butterbeer Cupcakes with the recipe below!

    In the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, they serve up a delicious drink called Butterbeer. If you've tasted it, you know how wonderful that flavor will be in a Harry Potter Butterbeer cupcake!

    What You Need to Make Butterbeer Cupcakes

    To make the cupcakes, you will need flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cream soda, and butterscotch pudding.

    For the frosting, you'll need powdered sugar, unsalted butter, heavy whipping cream, and butterscotch sauce.

    How to Make Butterbeer Cupcakes

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Line cupcake pan.

    Blend the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

    Mix the above ingredients with the bottle of cream soda and beat until thoroughly blended.

    Add the box of pudding and stir well.

    Pour the batter into the lined cupcake pan until ¾ full.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

    Check to see if cupcakes are done by inserting a toothpick, if it comes out clean then the cupcakes are done.

    Allow cupcakes to cool for at least 30 minutes before frosting.

    Add whipping cream and beat slowly.

    Check to see if frosting will make and hold a stiff peak. If not add additional ½ C powdered sugar and mix.

    You are going for stiff peaks, so if not there yet, continue to add powdered sugar until it stiff peaks form.

    Frost the cupcakes with either a pastry bag and tip or by hand.

    Drizzle with butterscotch sauce.

    Cupcake Ingredients

      Have any advice for these sticking like crazy to the paper liner? They are dense but so tasty, I was wondering if I should add some oil or something?

        Hi Hannah- I haven't had that problem, but a little spray like Pam would probably do the trick. Let me know if that helps.

        No!! It's just a 12 ounce bottle! You'd have liquid cupcakes with a 2 liter! 🙂
