1. Cream Cheese. For the creamiest dip, use blocks of regular cream cheese. Whipped cream cheese may look like it has the texture you’d want, but because it has a higher moisture content, your dip won’t be as rich.
2. Cool Whip and Marshmallow Fluff. The texture for this dip comes from the fluffy ingredients: Cool Whip and Marshmallow Fluff. Using Cool Whip instead of whipped cream means that your dip will hold together and not lose its fluffiness.
3. Chocolate Mints. You can either use Andes chocolate mints broken up into pieces, or use mint chocolate baking chips. Either one works equally as well.

Step 1: Beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy.
Step 2: Mix together the Cool Whip, marshmallow fluff, and cream cheese in a large bowl.
Step 3: Fold in the confectioners’ sugar until combined.
Step 4: Gently stir in Andes chocolate mints or mint chocolate chips.
Step 5: Fold in the mini chocolate chips.
Step 6: Gently stir until combined.
Step 7: Place in the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours before serving.
Step 8: Just before serving, garnish with candy cane or peppermint bits.

Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Dip Replace the marshmallow fluff with one package of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes. Use a food processor to blend the ingredients. If the dip is too crumbly, add more Cool Whip.

Candy Cane Cheesecake Dip. Add in one 3.4-ounce box of Jell-O Cheesecake Instant Pudding and Pie Filling Mix. If the dip is too stiff, add a bit of milk one tablespoon at a time until you get the desired consistency.
Gingerbread Dip. Omit the Andes chocolate mints or mint chocolate chips. Blend in one cup of gingerbread cookie mix. If the dip is too stiff, you can add milk one tablespoon at a time until it gets the consistency that you’d like.
Hot Cocoa Dip. Mix in four packets of instant hot chocolate mix without marshmallows and omit the Andes chocolate mints or mint chocolate chips. Fold in ¼ cup of mini marshmallows before serving, and sprinkle a few more on top.
Grinch Dip. Mix ¼ c. shredded coconut with 2 tablespoons of green food coloring. Sprinkle a layer of green coconut on top for a classic “grinchy” look.
