The other great thing about these brownie cupcakes is that the recipe is easy peasy. We’re using a boxed brownie mix, banana, chocolate chips, walnuts, and chocolate frosting.

You can always make the brownies and frosting from scratch, but sometimes I need a super easy recipe, don’t you?

It’s still better than buying something that has been sitting on a bakery table all day, and your friends and family will know you went to a little extra trouble to make this dessert for them. Enjoy!

You’ll need a box of brownie mix, a ripe banana, chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, and chocolate frosting. I’m betting many people have all these ingredients in their pantry now.

How to Make Brownie Cupcakes

Makes 12

Preheat oven to 350.

Prepare the brownie mix according to directions, but add an extra egg and ¼ cup more oil.

Add in your banana, chocolate chips and ½ of the nuts.

In a muffin tin, line with cupcake liners or spray with vegetable oil.

Fill 2/3 full.

Bake for 22-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frost your cupcakes and sprinkle remaining walnuts.

    Excellent recipe. Thanks a lot! But I used my own brownie mixture recipe instead of boxed mix. It’s more better.
