- 2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- 2 ounces pineapple juice
- 1 ounce coconut water
- 1/2 ounce lime juice
- Fresh pineapple wedges or lime slices for garnish
- Margarita salt for the rim
- Ice
Prepare your garnish first.
Run a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass. Turning the glass upside down, dip it in the margarita salt.
Add ice to your cocktail shaker.
Pour in pineapple juice.
Add coconut water.
Add tequila.
Add triple sec.
Finally, add the lime juice.
Shake the mixture well to chill.
Pour the margarita into the glass and garnish with fresh pineapple, lime, or a combination of the two.
