Ingredients

  • 2 ounces tequila
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 2 ounces pineapple juice
  • 1 ounce coconut water
  • 1/2 ounce lime juice
  • Fresh pineapple wedges or lime slices for garnish
  • Margarita salt for the rim
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Prepare your garnish first.
  • Run a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass. Turning the glass upside down, dip it in the margarita salt.
  • Add ice to your cocktail shaker.
  • Pour in pineapple juice.
  • Add coconut water.
  • Add tequila.
  • Add triple sec.
  • Finally, add the lime juice.
  • Shake the mixture well to chill.
  • Pour the margarita into the glass and garnish with fresh pineapple, lime, or a combination of the two.
