Equipment

  • Punch Bowl with Ladle

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cranberry juice cocktail
  • 1 cup Orange juice
  • ½ cup Vodka
  • ½ cup Cointreau
  • ½ Frozen cranberries
  • 1 Fresh strawberries sliced
  • 1 Orange sliced
  • 1 Lime sliced
  • 750 ml Champagne or sparkling wine 1 bottle
  • 4 cups ice

Instructions

  • To a punch bowl, add your juices, vodka, and Cointreau. You can do this ahead of time (up to 24 hours.)
  • You could also freeze this mixture in a smaller container which will help to keep the punch cold. If you use this method, make the punch at least 15 minutes before guests arrive so the alcohol will have started melting into the punch.
  • Add all the fruit to the punch bowl.
  • Just before guests arrive, add a cup or two of ice and pour in the Champagne just until the bowl is full, a few inches from the rim. Give the punch a gentle stir.
  • Feel free to garnish with more fresh cranberries, orange slices, and strawberries.
  • Don't forget to add your punch ladle.

Notes

You can easily make part of the punch ahead of time and either refrigerate or freeze it.
Make the punch non alcoholic by eliminating the alcohol and using a carbonated soda for the bubbles.
