- ¾ C dark chocolate chips
- 4 eggs room temperature
- ½ C sugar
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ C margarine reduced-fat
- ¾ C all purpose flour
Preheat your oven to 350º.
Prepare pan by spraying with nonstick cooking spray
Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over water that is simmering.
Once the chocolate is melted, remove from heat and gently stir until smooth.
In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar on high for about 7 minutes and approximately three times the volume.
Continue to beat adding in vanilla and salt.
Stir in margarine.
Stir in flour until mixture is smooth.
Stir the melted chocolate into the bowl until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
Bake 20 minutes. Check with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, they are done. Keep checking so not to overbake.
Cool in the pan on a rack so heat doesn't continue to cook the brownies.
