These dark chocolate brownies are decadent and delicious. They are not only under 300 calories per serving, but they are just 6 Points on Weight Watchers. To be honest, a half serving is all I need to satisfy that craving for something sweet.

Ingredients

  • ¾ C dark chocolate chips
  • 4 eggs room temperature
  • ½ C sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ C margarine reduced-fat
  • ¾ C all purpose flour

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350º.
  • Prepare pan by spraying with nonstick cooking spray
  • Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over water that is simmering.
  • Once the chocolate is melted, remove from heat and gently stir until smooth.
  • In a separate large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar on high for about 7 minutes and approximately three times the volume.
  • Continue to beat adding in vanilla and salt.
  • Stir in margarine.
  • Stir in flour until mixture is smooth.
  • Stir the melted chocolate into the bowl until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan.
  • Bake 20 minutes. Check with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, they are done. Keep checking so not to overbake.
  • Cool in the pan on a rack so heat doesn't continue to cook the brownies.
