Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 6 fresh figs
  • 4 ounces blue brie cheese
  • 1/4 C pecans
  • 1 T honey
  • 1/2 T fresh thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

Instructions

  • Gently wash the figs and dry. Cut off both ends and cut in half.
  • Lightly toast pecans in a warm pan over low heat until just golden.
  • Gently stir the cheese with salt and pepper. Don't over stir.
  • Place pieces of cheese on each fig. The cheese should not completely cover the fig. Shape it down the middle so you can see the pretty color of the inside of the fresh fig.
  • Press fig and cheese lightly into bowl of chopped pecans.
  • Drizzle with honey.
  • Sprinkle fresh thyme over the fig appetizer.
