Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces cranberries Frozen, slightly thawed
  • ¼ cup of honey
  • ¼ cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped, packed
  • 2 limes zest & juice
  • 1 Jalapeño Pepper chopped

Instructions

Instructions

  • Chop the cranberries medium fine.
  • Chop the cilantro and add it to the cranberries in a medium bowl.
  • Zest the lime, and then juice it. Whenever you're zesting citrus, you want the zest to be finely grated as it releases more flavor. Add it to the bowl.
  • Finely chop the Jalepeño. Add it to the rest of the ingredients.
  • Add honey and sugar.
  • Mix all ingredients well.
  • Chill for at least 2 hours. It's best to let the salsa set overnight in a refrigerator to really give the flavors a chance to meld together.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator overnight before serving, or for at least 5-6 hours. The flavor really changes once everything mingles together, so it's best to make this salsa the day before you want to serve it.
