This refreshing Mango Margarita is the perfect drink to enjoy with friends. Festive enough for an elegant evening gathering, but easy enough for a drink by the pool, this cocktail will be your new favorite. All you need is a little food like chips and salsa and a few appetizers, good music, and you've got a summer party in the making!

Mango Margarita

A delicious margarita flavored with mango!

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Sweet and Sour mix
  • 2 oz 2 oz Mango Nectar
  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz cointreau
  • lime zest
  • lime slice

Instructions

  • You will need 2 small plates to decorate the rim of your glassware.
  • Pour some sugar onto one plate and simple syrup on the other plate.
  • Take your glassware and dip the rims in the simple syrup and then the sugar and set to the side
  • Fill your glasses with ice 3/4 of the way full
  • Add sweet and sour mix, mango nectar, lime zest, tequila, and triple sec to a cocktail shaker filled with 3-4 pieces of ice
  • Shake until chilled
  • Pour into glass
  • Float Cointreau on top of the cocktail and garnish with a lime.
