Quick & Creamy Rice Pudding
A quick and easy recipe for creamy rice pudding.
- 3 C Minute Ready to Serve White Rice
- 3 C milk
- ⅔ C sugar
- 2 T butter
- ½ cup raisins
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- zest of one orange
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Combine rice, milk, sugar, butter, and raisins in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, uncovered until most of the liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Be careful not to boil.
Once the liquid is absorbed, add zest and cinnamon. Spoon into dessert dishes and sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
Serve warm or cold. To make a more festive presentation, serve in dessert dishes placed on small plates with orange slices. Enjoy!
