Monkey Bread with Oreos

Whoever thought to make monkey bread with Oreos was pretty genius! The deliciousness of Monkey Bread paired with the yumminess of the classic favorite Oreo cookie is the perfect dessert to bring to that family gathering or party with friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 - 7.5 oz cans refrigerated biscuit homestyle dough
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 package of double stuffed Oreos
  • ziplock bags
  • rolling pin
  • 1 C powdered sugar
  • 2 T milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375º.
  • Spray your bundt pan heavily with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
  • Using a ziplock bag, add in 1 row of Oreos and using the rolling pin, crush them to fine crumbs. Set aside in a bowl.
  • Open the cans of biscuit dough.
  • Cut your biscuits into quarters
  • Place a small scoop of the crushed Oreos in the center of each piece of biscuit dough.
  • Roll each piece of dough into a ball.
  • Using another Ziploc bag, place cookie into the bag, after scraping out the cream filling, and use the rolling pin to crush them.
  • Place 8-10 dough balls into the Ziploc bag and shake until all dough is coated in the cookie crumbs.
  • Repeat until all of the pieces of dough are coated.
  • Now begin place the dough balls in the bundt pan evenly spreading them out.
  • In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for 45 seconds.
  • Pour over the dough balls in the bundt pan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, until dough appears to be a golden brown.
  • Let set for 5 minutes then place on your serving dish.
  • In a bowl, mix 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, and ½ teaspoon of vanilla. If you don't like the consistency, add milk or powdered sugar until it's thick enough to drizzle.
  • Take a fork dipped into the icing and drizzle it over the monkey bread.
