Red Pepper Dip

This delicious Middle Eastern dip has a sweet and smokey flavor. I discovered it in Jordan and could eat it every day!

  • Food processor

Ingredients

  • 1 20 oz Roasted red peppers or 2 large roasted peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/2 C bread crumbs
  • 3 T Pomegranate molasses
  • 3 T olive oil
  • 1 C walnuts toasted
  • 2 1/2 T tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper Traditional recipe uses Aleppo pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sumac
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor until smooth
  • Add about 1 tsp olive oil on top and garnish with walnuts
