I had the pleasure of seeing for KING & COUNTRY last year when they were here in my area, and they are so amazing! Honestly, I had not heard of them before I found out they were opening for Chris Tomlin. Let me just say we were blown away by this band’s unique sound. My husband is a musician, and he was so impressed by how tight the band was. They were awesome!
When Word Entertainment asked me if I would like to check out their latest album, Hope is What We Crave, which is live, I was thrilled! I have been listening in my car and love it! From the first song, Fine Fine Live, where they really get the audience involved, to Middle of Your Heart and Busted Heart, both which are getting a ton of airplay here in my area on the JoyFm, you have got to check this out!
I’m not the only one who loves this band. Last week, they received the New Artist of the Year at the Dove Awards!
It was just the day before that the Hope is What We Crave Live album was released, and it’s already closing in on the top 25! In 2012, for KING & COUNTRY were named as one of Billboard’s 17 acts to watch and were CCM’s best-selling new artist. New Release Tuesday noted that Crave was “One of the Best Debut Projects in Years!” ET’s “The Insider” said the duo, “make music that speaks directly to your heart” and have been “gaining popularity in the alt-rock genre.” American Songwriter commented that “for KING & COUNTRY may just be Australia’s answer to Coldplay.” Now that this new album is out, you are going to be hearing a lot more of for KING & COUNTRY!
for KING & COUNTRY is now on tour with the Newsboys through October and they have a pretty full touring schedule into 2014. Check them out if they are in your area!
