A busy weekend calls for a quick and easy meal, and this weekend has been crazy. My husband and I had an event to attend on Saturday during the day, and my daughter had an opera event on Saturday and Sunday evening. Add church events to the mix and there isn’t much time to chill. It makes it difficult to have family time when it seems we are often going in different directions.
I’ll admit, there are times when it is just easier to stop and grab food out when we are on the road a lot, but I’ve found a really easy option, and it doesn’t come out of a cardboard box. Tyson® Meal Kits actually contain fresh food that you prepare together in a skillet. It’s all there, ready for you to prepare.
Creamy Chicken Alfredo
I found the Tyson® Meal Kits in the Ready to Cook section of the Fresh Meat case of my local Publix. I’ve prepared the 3 Cheese Carbonara before, so this time I thought we would try the Creamy Chicken Alfredo. You don’t need to add a thing, not even milk! The yummy Alfredo sauce is sealed in its own package, along with a separate package of cooked pasta and another separate package of uncooked boneless skinless chicken breast. Dinner does not get any easier than this. With so many varieties, you’re sure to find one (or three!) that your family will love.
The directions are so simple:
- Brown the chicken until done.
- Add the pasta to the same pan, cook until warm, stirring frequently.
- Add the creamy Alfredo sauce, stirring all the deliciousness together until warm. As I’m a little lactose intolerant, I add a less Alfredo sauce for my portion, plating mine first, and then adding more for the rest of my family. That’s the beauty of everything being packaged separately.
And you are from the pan to the plate in 10 minutes! You can have the family sit down together when dinner is this simple to prepare, and everyone will love this Italian-inspired comfort food.
Tyson® Meal Kits at Publix are a one-stop solution for a complete meal for your family. Which Tyson® Meal Kit would you want to try first?
