I’ve been a fan of the Entertainment Book for years! I bought my first book almost twenty years ago when I graduated from college and money was tight. My best friend and I took full advantage of the buy one get one free coupons and tried a new restaurant at least once a week! We tried everything from Indian to Thai to continental and were able to do it all on a budget! And now that I’m a mom with 3 kids, I still take advantage of it today to save money not just on dining, but also on travel, entertainment and even every day expenses like groceries, car washes and dry cleaning.
By far, my favorite thing about the Entertainment Book is the Dining Out section! It’s an opportunity to try some of the higher end restaurants at a significant savings. This is especially nice if you haven’t been to a particular place and don’t want to take the risk of spending a lot of money before you’re familiar with the food. Another great aspect of the Dining Out section is that there is a sample menu for each restaurant featured. If you’re not in the mood for fine dining, there’s always the Casual & Family Dining and Fast Food & Carryout sections. These are great if you’re in a hurry or are looking for something quick and easy like pizza. I’ve gotten my money’s worth out of books in the pizza coupons alone! Below is a great example of the savings. Buy one Dinner Platter and Get One, up to $22! And right now you can get one book for $21! Seems like a n0-brainer to me!
For those that like to travel or need to do so for business, you’ll find lots of great deals in the Travel & Hotels section! There are coupons for discounts on rental cars, hotels and flights! I’ve used this section for last minute trip ideas in addition to planned vacations.
The Entertainment and Sports pages offer incredible savings on more activities than you could ever hope to do in the year! There are coupons for movie theaters and lots of options for the sports enthusiast at both at the national and local level. What I love about this section is that no one in my house is excluded! I love that there are coupons for kids activities such as laser tag and bounce centers, as well as more adult activities like the conservatories and topiary gardens.
Year-round, the Entertainment Book is a must-have. Particularly around the holidays, the National Retail & Services section has saved me hundreds of dollars! There are awesome deals from major retailers including Dicks’ Sporting Goods, Target, Best Buy, Gap and many, many others!
In addition to saving from the discounts in the book, you can also use their mobile app or go online and print even more coupons! There really is no end to the money you can save. Get your Entertainment Book now so you have to rest of 2014 to save!
