The Food Wine Conference presented by Sunday Supper is just a couple of weeks away, from May 19-21, and tickets are selling fast. I missed last year’s event so I’m excited to attend this one as I’ve heard it just keeps getting better and better.
In case you aren’t familiar with the Food Wine Conference, it’s a weekend-long event that gives bloggers, journalists, authors, PR professionals, small business owners, winemakers, chefs, as well as brands the opportunity to attend workshops to learn more about topics which will help them improve their businesses.
Some of the workshops I’m most excited to attend are:
- Building a powerful Social Media Presence with Amanda Rettke. With over 150, 000 followers on Pinterest, Amanda might know a little about social media. I am SO excited to meet her and learn how she built that amazing following!
- Fingertip Film Fest with Sandi McKenna, radio talk show host, video producer, and a hoot, as well as Jeff Houck, a marketing a PR manager for the Columbia Restaurant Group and a former journalist. Video is on my list to improve this year.
Massive Instagram Growth with Stefani Pollack from Cupcake Project. Take a look at her Instagram (443,000 followers!) and Pinterest Boards and you’ll quickly understand why she is an in-demand speaker.
Let’s Instafood will be led by several speakers including Julius Mayo Jr from Droolius.com and Faith Gorsky from An Edible Mosaic who I just met when I was invited to attend Capture the Bite, their Food Photography workshop in partnership with Walt Disney World. I learned so much in the span of a few days that I am still taking it all in, and can’t wait to learn more from them and the rest of the speakers.
As always, the connections made at conferences like this can be a game-changer. Bring lots of business cards and get ready to take your business to a whole new level. Don’t forget to leave enough room in your suitcase for the swag!
Did I mention there would be lots of delicious Food and Wine?
I’m also thrilled to be a Brand Ambassador this year, so you’ll see a lot of tweets and other shares from me before, during, and after the event.
If you don’t have your ticket yet, they are still available but going fast! Come join us around the “Family Table” and taste and sip the deliciousness! Use code KellyS2017 to get $50 off! You’re welcome!
As always, the Food Wine Conference is being held at the gorgeous Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando. Food Wine Conference has a crazy good rate which you can read more about when you get your ticket. By the way, you can buy a discounted ticket for your significant other or a friend if you want to bring one so they can experience the food and wine and just enjoy sunny Orlando and the resort. Hope to see you at there!
