Looking for a delicious breakfast or pick-me-up in the afternoon? This smoothie is perfect for that, and it tastes like an island vacation.

And if you’re looking for ways to stay hydrated (so important!), make a batch of this Pineapple Water or Strawberry Agua Fresca.

Speaking of vacation, you’ve got to have dessert, right? I figured out how to make Peach Cobbler with cake mix and it’s heavenly! This is an easy recipe you can make anywhere with just a handful of ingredients.

Why You Should Try it

A delicious smoothie is a healthy option when you want something sweet, and this one is full of nutritious ingredients! When peaches are in, I’m buying them by the bagful!

This healthy peach smoothie recipe is vegan, too. For anyone doing the Daniel Fast, simply leave out the honey.

Starting your day with a fruit smoothie is a great way to get your daily antioxidants and fiber.

📋 What You Need to Make It

Ingredients for peach smoothie.

Peaches

We used fresh peaches to make this peach smoothie recipe. Peaches contain Vitamin C, folic acid, fiber, and antioxidants. Start your day with this Peaches and Cream parfait alongside this smoothie!

I also love peaches in appetizers like this fresh peach salsa recipe.

Peaches also make wonderful cocktails, like this Spiked Arnold Palmer or this Crown Peach Drink I learned about at my first Nascar race!

Pineapple

Fresh pineapple pairs so well with peaches, and gives this smoothie a tropical flavor. It’s also low in calories and big on flavor, which is why I also used it in this easy muffin recipe.

For another fun breakfast treat, check out these pineapple doughnuts. Later in the day you can whip up these Mojito Cupcakes.

You can chop your fruit in advance and stick it in a freezer bag for busy mornings, or just use frozen fruit.

Coconut Milk

I was shocked to find coconut milk had fewer calories and more calcium than cow’s milk! It’s really delicious in this smoothie. You’ll find coconut milk in the dairy section. Do not use canned as it is full of fat and sugar.

Chia Seeds

Chia seeds are full of fiber, protein, calcium, manganese, and magnesium. An ancient food eaten by the Aztecs and Mayans, somehow the benefits of chia seeds got lost in the shuffle. These little seeds have loads of benefits, so pick them up and sprinkle them on your breakfast cereal or make this healthy oatmeal.

Along with the peaches, pineapple, coconut milk, and chia seeds, you’ll need ice, and a little honey. Add these 5 ingredients to your list for the grocery store so you have them on hand for breakfast or an afternoon snack.

🔪 Instructions

Begin by washing and chopping your fruit.

Remove the pit from the peaches and cube them. You can leave the peach skin on or remove it.

Remove the skin from the pineapple and cube two cups. Leave a slice for garnish.

Place peaches, pineapple, coconut milk, chia seeds, honey, and ice cubes into a high powered blender and blend into a creamy smoothie.

Pour in a tall glass and top with a slice of peach and sprig of mint for garnish. Wasn’t that a simple recipe for something so good? This makes 4 servings.

What could I add to this to make it creamier and more thick?

For a thick smoothie, add a scoop of low fat vanilla or peach yogurt. The yogurt will make this smoothie more creamy, more like a peach milkshake.

Do I have to add the pineapple?

You can switch up the fruits any way you’d like! Double the peaches for more peach flavor if you don’t like pineapple. Or make a peach banana smoothie! You do you!

Can I use frozen fruit for this peach smoothie?

You can absolutely use frozen instead of fresh fruit. In fact, as fruit is typically frozen right after harvesting, the nutritional value is just as good as fresh!
