It’s time for my Friday Favorites! I just love this feature because it forces me to check out a lot of other blogs. There are so many great sites, it really is hard to choose!
This week I’m featuring a blogger that I have just recently started following as she is heading up a huge giveaway I decided to join. Shelley is the “Chief Blonde” at Still Blond After All These Years!, and heads up the amazing fashion only giveaway, The Fashionista Event, each spring and fall. Still Blonde After All These Years is a site for women over 45. You’ll find clothing, hairstyles, consumer electronics, health, food, causes…anything for women over 45! I’m over 45 and I love this site, but I can tell you, Shelley has many fans under 45, too. Love giveaways? All giveaways are over $50!
I’ve found some amazing recipes on this site, as well, like the Peasant Mushroom Pilaf. Yum! This is a dish my whole family will love, and I’ll make extra because it’s always better the second day! Check out the Recipe tab and let me know what you try. Also check out the Health section where you’ll find articles about taking care of yourself, especially focused on women over 45. Want to learn how to get the best deal at the spa? Think it’s out of reach for your budget? It may not be if you follow Shelley’s advice.
